NEWS | Tiny Metal is getting a limited physical release, new DLCs

 

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, March 12, 2020 - Limited Run has announced that have partnered up with Area 35 to bring a physical release of Tiny Metal: Ultimate to the Nintendo Switch.

The pre-order for Tiny Metal: Ultimate will begin from March 13 for two weeks via the Limited Run website. The cartridge will contain the original Tiny Metal, Tiny Metal: Full Rumble, Caesar's Rescue and Will of the Shogun as a physical release on Nintendo Switch. 

Tiny Metal: Ultimate will be available in both Standard and Limited Editions. Whilst the Standard Edition will be bursting at the cart with content (two whole games plus two expansive pieces of DLC), the Limited Edition will also include a physical OST from the whole game series.

Area 35 also announced a collaboration with Chucklefish. The free DLC available today for Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble which will see Wargroove’s very own doggy Commander Caesar as world and denizens of the Tiny Metal universe transform into pixelated versions of themselves in the signature Wargroove stylings.

The new campaign lets you work with best boy Caesar to save the world help deliver him safely back home to the Kingdom of Cherrystone.

DLC Campaign Special Rule: Players will be given an initial set of units that will be used throughout all FIVE DLC chapters and must use survivalist tactics to ensure as many units as possible make it through to the end.

Meanwhile, Will of the Shogun paid DLC will be released on the same day as Caesar’s Rescue and continues Tiny Metal: FMR story in the form of Act 8, the next chapter of the main core TINY METAL: FMR campaign. 

In addition to a brand new Act (complete with a whole additional story and missions), comes Legendary Battles which bring an additional host of Skirmish maps as well as a more challenging ‘Legendary’ difficulty mode, which will be coming to all existing available and new skirmish maps.
