Local virtual fight club shows support   


OVER the weekends a couple of local fighting game enthusiasts, Bru Shadaloo, gathered together at our local game store ETA for the launch of the Street Fighter x Tekken by organising a test-play/tournament and yours truly was signed up to join.

Being the retro-gamer and since it did involved some classic gaming characters fighting it off,  I brought along my PS2 15th Anniversary Street Fighter (Ken)+its PS3 connector for some old school beatings.

This was Geeks&Things ' first outing for these guys event and I've gotta say it did gathered a lot of crowds and interested people.

According to the salesperson, the game sold about 90 copies that night due to the hype that was generated from all the screaming and what not.

All and all it was a good night and hellava good time.
