Unholy find/review - Pokemon Gold vs Pokemon Golden
WARNING: brain cell loss imminent.
POKEMON is synonymous for being an awesome series, hands down. When Red and Blue came out in 1998, the dying Game Boy quickly became relevant again, boosting sales and as well as saw several revisions of the system.
The game spawned many sequels which we can still see today. But moreso, the game also spawned hundreds of other reiterations made by fans of the game. Some bring welcomed improvement whilst others are left to be desired.
When Pokemon Gold and Silver for the Game Boy Color originally came out in Japan, many of these bootlegged loose translation snuck its way into the market, complete with a box but no manual in order to make a quick buck from the popular series.
How quick you say? Well, I will let you decide with this side-by-side comparison:

In a short review, Golden Version wins by default for being the main reason why I suck at writing things in English. Anyone who can stomach the bootleg version til the end AND collect all the Pokemon has my sympathies and my undeserving respect for making it through with your sanity still intact.
The verdict?
