NEWS | Rocksteady Studios Drops Behind-the-Scenes Featurette for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
WARNER Bros. Games and DC have released a new gameplay video for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, an upcoming third-person action-adventure shooter developed by Rocksteady Studios.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an original action-adventure third-person shooter, where players take on the roles of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, who must band together to take down the World’s Greatest DC Super Heroes, the Justice League.
The video provides players with an in-depth look at the game’s high-intensity combat, set in the vast, explorable open-world of Metropolis, which is filled with Brainiac’s hostile forces. The game can be enjoyed as a solo experience or with up to four players online, each character bringing their own unique skills and attacks to the table. The game will be available worldwide on May 26 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The gameplay reveal showcases the chaos that can ensue in multiplayer, with Harley Quinn’s acrobatics, King Shark’s leaping, Deadshot’s sharpshooting, and Captain Boomerang’s speed force all on full display. Furthermore, Rocksteady Studios released a behind-the-scenes featurette that expands on the world of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and delves deeper into the game's core elements and characters. The video also touches on the studio’s plans for new content after launch.
In addition to the massive story-driven campaign, vibrant open-world, and action-adventure shooter experience, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have post-launch content updates to expand the story with new missions and earnable characters, all available at no cost. The game will also feature a cosmetics-only battle pass system, allowing players to customize Squad members with new outfits, emotes, and other items.
There will also be the official five-issue prequel series, Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum, launching on May 30, which includes a code for a redeemable in-game cosmetic item with each print issue. Paying Annual or Ultra tier subscribers to the DC Universe Infinite digital subscription platform will also receive a code for the in-game cosmetic item for each issue. — Geeks Republika
