NEWS | Sekiro awarded Game of the Year, Indie developer gets recognition
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, December 13, 2019 - From Software taking the coveted 2019 Game of the Year Award and Action/Adventure game for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Disco Elysium's developer swept up a handful of notable awards.
The Game Awards awarded 29 categories during the three hour plus award show which concluded with a number of notable announcements for games and console expected for next year
Most notable during the event is indie developer ZA/UM nabbing four awards for Disco Elysium while Kojima Production's Death Stranding and Nintendo IPs each received three awards for their work on their respective games.
