NEWS | App Lets you add More Games to your Sega Genesis Mini
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, January 2, 2020 - Before the new year, Mod My Classic group released a beta version of Project Lunar which now lets you add more games to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini.
The set up requires the user to download an app to their PC and start the process there. Some of the features includes bundled Retroarch, scraping function (letting you add cover arts, info etc) and EmulationStation support via USB.
With the very limited memory in the mini console, the most games you can add is about 100 plus scrapping.
The team has plans for more updates such as folder support, launch different console games from stock UI and Bluetooth support.
Tutorials has been cropping up on Youtube now on how to get yourself started putting your favourite games into the system.
As a word of precaution, modding the mini console will run the risk of bricking it, so mod it at your own risk. So without further adieu, the beta version can be found here.
