NEWS | Purify Evil Residents in Hotel Afterlife, Set to Launch in Q4

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, January 24, 2020 - A hotel management sim for the undead is currently being developed under the title Hotel Afterlife for Nintendo Switch and PC.

In Hotel Afterlife, the player takes the role of a manager of an unusual hotel, located in the inferno afterlife. However, the rules of this hotel will be far from the standard. As the game's creators explain, instead of caring for and pampering customers, the player will be given the task of "hosting" the sinners accordingly. The smooth and efficient operation of the hotel will allow you to climb the corporate hierarchy.

The single-player game offers an extensive campaign with 9 hellish maps, modeled on the circles of hell from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. A freeplay mode will also be prepared, and the authors are also considering a number of additions based on mythologies and cultures from around the world.

“Hotel Afterlife is not a five-star hotel full of luxury but a very specific place. It is a kind of purification of sinful souls. In this world, the currency will not be dollars, yen, euro or cryptocurrencies but simply sins. Our game will provide many opportunities and will release the creative potential of players. The gameplay will focus on building, personalising soul purification and various economic elements. There will also be a good level of ambiguous humor and references to pop culture and politics" says game designer in Alrauna Studio, MichaÅ‚ Stonawski.

This new tycoon will allow building the hotel from scratch, including the planning of individual rooms and floors. It will also be up to the player to choose and place attractions, including many torture devices. The job will also manage barracks and staff, as well as making architectural and financial decisions.

“This hellish tycoon will combine elaborate strategic and economic elements and a lot of black humor. Hotel Afterlife should appeal especially to players who appreciate games in the style of Two Point Hospital, Dungeon Keeper, Hotel Giant or Prison Architect” says the CEO of Gaming Factory S.A., Mateusz Adamkiewicz.
