NEWS | Narrative driven open world adventure Cloudpunk coming to consoles this year
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, February 14, 2020 - Initially announced for the PC, the developers of the highly anticipated story-driven open-world title, Cloudpunk, will also be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Despite the open world moniker, Cloudpunk will focus more on the narrative and character development, offering more tough moral choices in lieu of any shooting, combat mechanics, RPG stat building or any unlockable skills.
As the game is leaning towards story-focused, expect to encounter characters each with their own personalities and quirks against the backdrop of what is possibly the weirdest and oddly mesmerising depiction of a cyberpunk inspired city.
While no release date yet except for the vague "this year", the game is shaping up to look like a real sleeper hit.

A stunning voxel graphics art style brings the open-world city of Nivalis to life as Cloudpunk delivers a vibrant, futuristic open world to live in and explore. From the underground nightclubs to the gardens in the sky, the title combines exploration with narrative to provide a compelling take on the cyberpunk genre.
Cloudpunk is filled with characters to meet, alongside a multitude of stories to discover as you explore the neon-streaked world which finds inspiration from real places such as Shinjuku in Tokyo, as well as Hong Kong and Seoul.
Player takes the role of Rania, on your first night working for Cloudpunk, the semi-legal delivery company based in Nivalis. Explore dense, vertical landscapes that reach high into the clouds and deep down through the ocean waves below, as you meet characters ranging from Androids and AI to unscrupulous humans at every level of society.
