MORTAL KOMBAT is upon us as new images from the film gives a first look of what to expect from the R-Rated reboot directed by Simon McQuoid.

New images released from Entertainment Weekly that shows Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang), Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), Jax Briggs (Mehcad Brooks), Kano (Josh Lawson), and Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim) posing in their full Mortal Kombat attire.

Instead of following established characters in Mortal Kombat, the reboot is taking a different story approach as the story follows the journey of Lewis Tan’s Cole Young, a new protagonist to the series, as he is caught in between Scorpion and Sub-Zero conflict and drama.
