NEWS | New Story Trailer reveals Photo Mode and alternative costumes in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

KOEI TECMO Europe has announced that digital pre-orders for the remastered classic, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, are now available on all platforms.

The new Story Trailer gives players a glimpse into the game's storyline, as well as a closer look at the Photo Mode and alternative costumes. Pre-ordering the game by March 2nd, 2023, will give players access to limited edition costumes for the characters, including the Fox Mask and the Spirit Stone Flashlight Hat.

In the game, players take on the role of Ruka Minazuki, Misaki Aso, and Madoka Tsukimori as they investigate the supernatural events that took place on Rogetsu Isle a decade ago. Armed with the Camera Obscura and the Spirit Torch, players will face off against frightening spirits as they uncover the truth and recover their lost memories.

For players looking for even more a Digital Deluxe Upgrade Pack will also be available for purchase which includes the Rogetsu Isle Dinner Party Costume Set and a digital art book, along with the original soundtrack. 

Purchasing the digital version of the game by March 22, 2023, will grant players the Ruka Exclusive Costume "Marie Rose Outfit" from the Dead or Alive series, as well as the Camera Obscura Hat bonus for players who have saved data from Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. 

The game is set to release digitally on March 9, 2023, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam. — Geeks Republika
