NEWS | Explore the Mysterious Science Island in The Forest Cathedral, Now on Xbox and PC

WHITEHORN Games has partnered with developer Brian Wilson to launch “The Forest Cathedral” on Xbox and PC. 

The game is a rich narrative adventure with platforming puzzles set in the mysterious Science Island, inspired by Cook Forest State Park’s majestic Forest Cathedral. Players are invited to investigate the surge of dying wildlife and uncover the horrific effects of the harmful pesticide DDT, as inspired by Rachel Carson’s investigation in Silent Spring.

Players will take on the role of Rachel, a field research biologist investigating the island. While completing her weekly tasks, she discovers that things are not as they seem. The game combines 3D exploration with 2D platforming and environmental scanning tools to solve puzzles. Players can switch control between Rachel and the Little Man inside her scanning tools to solve puzzles and overcome platforming challenges.

The game features a fully voiced narrative to invest players in the harrowing history of the attempted silencing of Rachel Carson, backed by an enchanting original soundtrack. The game is now available on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. — Geeks Republika
