NEWS | Wargroove 2: Return to Aurania's Battlefield with New Campaign, Commanders, Modes, and Units

Chucklefish and Robotality have announced the sequel to the award-winning Wargroove game, Wargroove 2. 

The game is set to release on PC and Nintendo Switch, featuring charming pixel art and challenging turn-based combat. Wargroove 2 brings new features such as a brand new story-rich campaign, an advanced tiered Groove system, an all-new roguelike game mode called "Conquest," and a lovable cast of new commanders to try out on the battlefield.

Players can expect an all-new Wargroove adventure that features new Commanders, a new tiered Groove system that makes Commanders even more powerful, and 5 new unit types to master. Additionally, the game features an improved map, campaign, and cutscene editors to help players get more creative than ever before.

In Wargroove 2, players must take to the field, sea, and sky with a cast of new Commanders to wage turn-based war against an ambitious new faction that has unearthed forbidden relics capable of catastrophic consequences. The game includes 3 new campaign arcs, which are interwoven in a fierce conclusion, and a captivating soundtrack written by composer Dale North.

The game also features multiplayer modes such as Co-Op and Multiplayer mode, locally or online for up to 4 players. With the new roguelike mode "Conquest," players can put their strategic abilities to the test.

Wargroove 2 is being developed by German indie games studio and turn-based RPG veterans, Robotality, who have partnered with Chucklefish for many years. Robotality is being handed the reins to the award-winning Wargroove IP to bring a fresh perspective on the franchise.
