FANS of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure are in for a treat as NIS America announced the release of Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles for Nintendo Switch and PS5 on August 29 for US and September 1, 2023, in Europe.
This continuation of the beloved RPG franchise includes two captivating games, Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, and promises to deliver a harmonious combination of story and song.
Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles brings a fresh experience to the West for the first time, featuring improved storybook visuals, enchanting music, and lovable characters both old and new. Players will join young Kururu, the daughter of Cornet and Ferdinand, on her quest to find true love in Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess.
Complete with more songs, a new turn-based battle system that utilises the special abilities of your puppets to gain an advantage on the battlefield. Using your puppets helps fill your musical staff which can be redeemed for powerful rewards once full. With a story that is both new yet familiar, this title is poised to make hearts sing once again.
In Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, players will enjoy a series of charming chapters that conclude the stories of Rhapsody and its characters. This instalment provides insight into events that occur before, during, and after the previous Rhapsody titles, including a heartfelt conclusion about Cornet's mother, Cherie.
The game features a revamped and refined traditional turn-based RPG combat by combining character attacks, and a 3D camera enhances the battle experience, and extra large teams of up to 16 characters will have you overpowering enemies in no time, adding new dimensions to the gameplay experience.
