ONE of the things that makes retro games so memorable is the fact that they are simple in nature. You move from point A to point B while overcoming any obstacle that comes in the way.
Now, this has been the main theme for a majority of the games available since Super Mario Bros. burst into the scene and has since been one of the most enduring gameplays mechanic of all time in any games especially if its 2D.
