Community: 16-Bit has never looked this good and fun to watch.
Six Seasons and a movie! Also, a pretty rad video game.
IF you guys managed to catch the recent episode of Community, boy was it a treat for gamers and retro gamers alike when the whole episode, from start to finish, revolved around the realm of 16-bit!
Essentially a filler episode to the series' third season finale, its easily one of the best.
As you know Community follows seven students in a series of misadventures as they struggle to manage their sanity and studies in the most dysfunctional college, Greendale. Now, in its third season, the series has made several references to video games such as Season two's episode where the gang romps through the world of Dungeons and Dragons.
This week's episode , as with every episode, is quite special as the study group frolick along in a world made up of dead pixels and hi-res SNES graphics.
With a whole heap of gaming references from Megaman, Eartbound and even Minecraft you gotta admit that this is an awesomely awesome (yes, I said it twice) must watch episode.
Can you point out any of the retro gaming references? Here are some of pics of the episode for your pre-viewing pleasure.
