NEWS | ARK: Survival Evolved Brings Massive Ragnarok Map to Nintendo Switch
STUDIO Wildcard has announced that the popular community expansion map, Ragnarok, is now available as free downloadable content for all Switch players of ARK: Survival Evolved.
With 144 square kilometres of terrain including mountain peaks, active volcanoes, caverns, and secluded forests, players will experience a new and exciting ARK adventure. The update also introduces new creatures such as Dire Polar Bears, Ice Wyverns, and Griffons for players to fight and tame. Check out the trailer below.
From February 9th to 16th, Switch players can participate in the Love Evolved in-game event, which features limited-time items, increased harvesting, taming, experience, and breeding rates, as well as special Valentine's treats. Meanwhile, console and PC players will get to participate in the Valentine's Evo Event, with similar benefits and special Dino colours, starting on February 10th.
In addition, ARK: The Survival of the Fittest is set to release on Xbox and PlayStation next week, offering a competitive spin-off where players engage in a fast-paced struggle for survival against up to 60 other players, leading their dinosaur armies into battle.
