NINTENDO announced six new games and updates to existing titles, all coming to the Switch console in the next few months. From turn-based tactical action and fast-paced footbrawlers to classic RPGs and a new Splatoon expansion, there is something for every gamer to get excited about. Here’s a rundown of the six games and updates coming to the Nintendo Switch:
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp
Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remastered version of the classic tactical game, featuring two full story campaigns and an array of modes, including online multiplayer. Available on April 21, pre-orders begin today.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a new take on the Bayonetta series, featuring the story of Cereza before she became the legendary witch Bayonetta. With elemental powers and a dual-controlled demon companion, the game is available for pre-order now, with a release date of March 17.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a new story and epilogue for the Kirby series, featuring a four-player co-op and over 20 stages to explore. The game releases on Feb. 24 and pre-orders are available now, with a demo available in the eShop later today.
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection
Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a collection of the first three Etrian Odyssey games, remastered in HD and with 24 new character illustrations. The collection releases on June 1, with pre-orders starting today.
Professor Layton and The New World of Steam
Professor Layton and The New World of Steam: In the newest entry in the beloved series, Professor Layton will face new puzzles in a fresh setting. Solve epic riddles as you progress through the story of this puzzle-fantasy adventure. Stay tuned for more details in the future.
OCTOPATH TRAVELLER II
The highly anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed RPG, OCTOPATH TRAVELER, is launching on Nintendo Switch on Feb. 24. The new entry in the series, OCTOPATH TRAVELER II, offers players eight unique stories to choose from, each following a new traveller with their own distinct origins, motivations, and skills.
And for those who have already enjoyed Splatoon 3, the Expansion Pass – Inkopolis & Side Order will add two waves of new content, including a new single-player campaign. Available for purchase now.
