NEWS | Anno 1800 Console Edition Goes Free for a Week on All Platforms

ANNO 1800 Console Edition is set to launch on March 16th, and to celebrate the release, the game will be available for free on all platforms for a week.

From March 16th to March 23rd, players can dive into the full main content of the game on Ubisoft Connect, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. And if they decide to purchase the game after the free week, their progress will carry over.

Anno 1800, developed by Ubisoft Mainz, is a city-building and strategy game that allows players to build gigantic metropolises, set up efficient and profitable logistical networks, colonise new continents, and dominate their opponents diplomatically, commercially, or militarily.

The Console Edition of Anno 1800 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 16th. The Standard version includes the base game and the biggest game updates, while the Deluxe version includes the base game, the biggest game updates, and three cosmetic packs. Early adopters who pre-order or purchase the Console Edition will enjoy the imperial and console founder packs, containing extra cosmetic bonuses, along with the digital artbook and soundtrack.

For those who can't wait to immerse themselves in the game’s music, they can pre-order the official second Anno 1800 vinyl soundtrack, Four Seasons, produced by Black Screen Records. The opulent soundtrack invites players into the musical worlds of the game’s four expansion sets. All new music tracks will be available on Spotify at the same time on March 31st, to mark the 25th birthday of the Anno brand. — Geeks Republika
