NEWS | Capcom Announces Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Expansion Launching on April 28

MONSTER HUNTER Rise fans, get ready to embark on a new adventure! Capcom has announced the upcoming launch of the massive expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, on April 28, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. 

The expansion follows the success of the top-selling and award-winning Monster Hunter Rise, where players will journey to the new port of Elgado Outpost to aid a new cast of allies in determining the source of abnormal monster activity.

The new content brings hunters to the Western-inspired Three Lords region, where they will take on new foes and learn devastating techniques. Upon the expansion's release, players can expect to encounter Chaotic Gore Magala, along with all post-release content up to Free Title Update 3 (Ver.13). Capcom will reveal information about the arrival of future Free Title Updates at a later date.

Updates regarding Free Title Update 5 (Ver.15) will arrive in April for hunters playing on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The expansion will provide an enriching experience with stunning visuals and an immersive world.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available for pre-order now, with bonuses including new armor sets and layered armor for Palamutes and Palicoes, a new pose set, and more. Players who purchase the Deluxe Edition will receive additional exclusive items, including layered armor for hunters and a new outfit for their trusty Palamute. — Geeks Republika
