NEWS | Morbius Brings His Fangs to Marvel's Midnight Suns in New "The Hunger" DLC
2K and Marvel Entertainment have announced the release of "The Hunger", the third post-launch DLC for Marvel's Midnight Suns, which features Morbius.
The DLC is now available worldwide on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. In "The Hunger", players must recruit Morbius, a living vampire who is wielding 11 unique Hero Abilities, to combat a vampyre threat that is sweeping across New York City. Morbius inadvertently transformed himself into a bat-like being in an attempt to cure his rare disease.
The DLC includes new story missions and a new recruitable hero, Morbius. Players can fight a host of fresh enemy types across challenging new encounters, and they can upgrade their Abbey with a new Laboratory. Additionally, there are three additional hero skins, seven Abbey outfits, and two swimsuits for Morbius.
Morbius is recruited by completing his first story mission, "Weird Science", which becomes playable after completing the "Spidermaaaans" mission, and Spider-Man unmasks in the Abbey during Act One. In combat, Morbius focuses on applying Bleed to enemies and then capitalizing on that effect for increased damage. He can enter a "Bloodlust" state after using a few of his abilities, granting him Block and causing all of his damaging abilities to apply Bleed.
Morbius' unique Abbey Research project Laboratory allows the purchase of permanent modifications to a hero's secondary stats, though these will always have a trade-off. Upgrading Laboratory increases the amount of stat options and their rarity.
"The Hunger" DLC pack is available for individual purchase and requires the base game. The DLC pack is also included with Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass, which is included with the Legendary Edition and available to purchase separately. The Morbius content requires unlocking via gameplay. — Geeks Republika
