NEWS | Metroid Fusion to be Added to Growing NSO GBA Games

Metroid Fusion, the fourth game in the 2D Metroid series, will be available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members from March 8th. 

Players can enjoy classic Metroid gameplay while exploring a massive research station and fighting against deadly creatures. Samus Aran, the interstellar bounty hunter, will be attacked by an X parasite while exploring the mysterious planet SR388. The parasite has spread to the research station, and Samus is the only one who can destroy the X threat before it's too late. Players can collect power-ups, uncover secrets, and experience the adventure that links Super Metroid to Metroid Dread.

Metroid Fusion marks the final addition to the full 2D Metroid saga, which players can experience on Nintendo Switch. The journey starts with the original Metroid game on the NES - Nintendo Switch Online library and continues with Metroid II - Return of Samus on the Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online library, Super Metroid on the Super NES - Nintendo Switch Online library, Metroid Fusion, and finally, Metroid Dread. — Geeks Republika
