NEWS | Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Launches on Consoles with Improved Performance and Visuals
WOLCEN Studio has released their critically acclaimed action RPG Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem on Xbox and PlayStation platforms. The console versions feature improved performance and visuals on the newest generation of consoles, resulting in a stunning and immersive gameplay experience.
"For both Xbox Series X and PS5 we are rendering at 1800p and then doing a temporal antialiasing/upscaling to 4K for better AA results," said Alexandru-Ion Radu, Producer and Tech Art Director of the console version of Wolcen.
"This is how it works best for us and produces better results compared to the built-in upscaling".
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a fan-favourite action RPG that features dynamic combat, deep character customization, and an engaging storyline. Players can build unique characters, choose from various weapons and spells, and explore a vast and immersive world filled with dangerous enemies and powerful bosses. The game supports co-op multiplayer with up to four players.
The console version of Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is the final complete edition and includes “Endgame” - the fourth act of the Wolcen story, providing players with a definitive conclusion to the epic adventure that originally began on PC.
Act 4: Endgame promises to be an exciting conclusion to the story, as players face the ultimate enemy, Ahriman, and have to make some hard moral choices. This act will test the player's strength and resolve as they fight to break free from Ahriman's influence and stop his plans to destroy humanity.
