NEWS | Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Vol. 4 Brings New Story Scenario and Battle Mechanics
THE final DLC for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass is set to release on April 25 for the Nintendo Switch system.
Future Redeemed, the scenario featured in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Vol. 4, is an original story that connects all three instalments of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. The trailer provides a glimpse of the game's scenario, set before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, where players join a cast of new and familiar characters. The game's new battle mechanics include Unity Combo, allowing two characters to attack in unison.
Furthermore, the Pyra/Mythra amiibo figures are set to launch on July 21. When players scan the Pyra amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Noah's Swordfighter class sword will match Pyra's Aegis Sword. Similarly, when players scan the Mythra amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the sword for Noah's Swordfighter class will match Mythra's Aegis Sword. The Aegis sword weapon skins can be used by all players after meeting a condition with a patch release in the future. Lastly, new Noah and Mio amiibo figures have been announced, and more information will be revealed soon.
In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Aionios serves as the stage for an endless conflict between two opposing nations, Keves and Agnus. However, a group of six soldiers from both rival nations, who meet by chance, come together to expose a new threat greater than their ceaseless battle. Players can join Noah, Mio, and their friends as they explore stunning landscapes, fight fierce creatures, and strive to break the endless cycle of violence that binds their homelands.
In battles, players control Noah's party of six, and additional characters may join the party as support characters. Each fighter has their own role in battle, allowing for diverse strategies. The class of each character influences how they battle, and they can use powerful abilities called Arts to gain victory. The tag-team pairs in the party can also utilise the Interlink system and merge into a giant form known as Ouroboros. — Geeks Republika
