NEWS | Cities: Skylines World Tour Brings Three New Content Creator Packs and Radio Stations This March

PARADOX Interactive and Colossal Order are celebrating the eighth anniversary of Cities: Skylines with the release of three new content creator packs and radio stations on March 22.

The companies also announced a roadmap outlining the final stops on the Cities: Skylines World Tour as they prepare for the highly-anticipated sequel. The final countdown includes a second set of content packs and a mini-expansion in May, with continued general support for Cities: Skylines through the rest of the year.

The first of the three new content creator packs is Africa in Miniature by 3D artist Setonji Prince Set Hotonu, featuring 28 new buildings inspired by Africa's diverse architecture, vibrant colours, and unique urban mix.

The second is Sports Venues by community modder BadPeanut, offering stadiums and community sports parks with realistic animations and built-in public transport options.

Lastly, Shopping Malls by community modder KingLeno features over 60 assets, including department stores, shopping plazas, and fast food restaurants to populate your shopping areas.

In addition to the content creator packs, there are three new radio stations to listen to while building your city: JADIA Radio Station with 16 tracks paying homage to Africa's musical traditions, 80's Movies Tunes with over 15 tracks and around 70 minutes of music inspired by 80s classics, and Pop-Punk Radio with 16 tracks and more than 75 minutes of powerful, high-beat tunes for Pop-Punk city builders.

On March 22, players can also expect a free content update called "Hubs and Transport" that improves the transport system for Cities: Skylines base game as well as the After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, and Mass Transit expansions.

As Colossal Order prepares for its final expansion for Cities: Skylines, CEO Mariina Hallikainen thanks the community for their support over the last eight years and looks forward to saying farewell with a strong line-up of content throughout the spring. — Geeks Republika
